Inspired by the lovely artists of Portsmouth who have been putting out their Free Art Friday artwork for passers by to enjoy and take home for some years now I have done a few of my own! This little guy was my 2nd Free Art drop in Stroud, Glos. I love doing this and hope to be putting a few more things out in the future.
This Free Art Friday drop was also featured on the Free Art Friday blog! Check it out and see what other artists are doing for their Free Art Friday! http://freeartfriday.blogspot.com
I am very excited to be featured on Lyn Midnight’s wonderful blog Against the Odds. This is my first feature where I have been asked to write about how I started making my beings and my sources of inspiration. Slightly nerve wracking to tell the truth. I have always been a bit quiet and not liked to bother anyone with my reasons for doing what I do, so, I think that this has been good for me! If you fancy a read please click on the link http://lynmidnight.blogspot.co.uk/2012/04/not-rubbish-art-art-made-of-rubbish.html
This feature has also just been posted on paper.li The Arts and Crafts Daily published by Blogworld which is fantastic!
I am so pleased to be Total Art Souls Featured Artist this week! I was very excited when I logged on to check my messages to see my work on the front page!! Total Art Soul is great website where artists can showcase their works, share blogs and take part in discussions. Have a look if you fancy it! www.totalartsoul.com
What a lovely day it was yesterday, full of excitement! The lovely people at www.co9cloud.blogspot.com featured Mrs Frog on their web page! Its a fab blog really worth checking out, they love Art, Design, Fashion and other cool stuff that catches their eye!
www.gotbrief.com is a great website where anyone can upload their work to a set weekly challenge. They give you a word such as ‘DANGER’ and all you need to do is respond to it however which way you choose. You don’t have to take it literally either, you can start off with the word and see where it takes you. The brilliant thing is that you could spend 2 minutes doing a project or a few days, so it’s really up to you! I think its great to get the creative juices flowing. I was very pleased indeed when my submitted work titled ‘Will he?’ was featured for last weeks brief. It’s a great way to share work and see how other people respond to the same brief.
